Wow!  SeaWorld is such a wonderful place to visit with family and friends.  Everyone loved the Sea Lions Tonite and the Shamu Rocks shows.  The dolphin encounter was a very unique experience; dolphin skin feels a lot like an inner tube tire, but smoother.  The kids loved the Journey to Atlantis ride.   Hats off to SeaWorld for making this day do special for us!

WOW! WOW! WOW!  We were so surprised when this terrific lady named BL came up and wished us a nice time at the Park.  She then surprised us with a wonderful gift of the VIP family for the day.  We were so excited we felt like we had won the lottery!  BL took Nick, Susie, Kim and I to take our picture on Shamu were we behaved very silly and childlike.  This was starting out to be a wonderful day off of work!  BL was outstanding as she led us on tour and told us special facts about different species.  For  example, who would know that a  Flamingo’s knee is  where our hip is and under its feathers.  That’s right; the leg portion that bends is the ankle.
We decided that the best part of the day was seeing  a rescued sea lion get fed. We went back in the “authorized personnel” area and watched the whole feeding episode! The trainers were awesome as the sea lion cried out for attention and the trainers made very little contact.  They shared that the less human touch the better as they plan to releases them back to sea.   Nick and Kim both admitted that that they could not do that job without petting the orphaned sea lion. BL did mention the biting that happen if we decided to “hug” them.
Maybe the best part was the dolphin encounter.  Caption was our dolphin and Brittany was our trainer.  She led us to believe that we could train the dolphins with a swipe of out hand.  We did it and Caption went on to perform with grace and elegance.  He flipped and we clapped like children!  In fact, at one point Captain saw her boyfriend and proceeded to splash us in his quest to chase him!  I did not find it nearly as funny as the rest of my family did as I got pretty soaked!
Having our seats reserved for all shows was the best part.  Oh…. and having our pictures blasted on the video screen for Shamu’s show was also exciting for us to see.  Our five minutes of fame!
Did I mention that the best part was the employees that were so very nice and informative?  BL our wonderful Santa Claus, Danelle at Skyride, Brittany our Dolphin encounter trainer and many others that were so great that we wondered how they were able to be so enthusiastic and friendly every day with everyone!  It takes patience and a wonderful personality to do these types of jobs and our hat goes off to Sea World for having such wonderful employees.
Wait one more best part…..Hanging out with my good friends and family as the special visitors  of the day.  We made jokes about being rich and famous and felt like we were the royal family.  We loved the shows, especially Pets Rule and Circus De****! We certainly did not want the day to end.
Okay – we admit; we can’t pick the best part or maybe they are all best parts of the day.  Thank you to SeaWorld for making a wonderful memory for all of us!

Dear Seaworld,

My family has unanimously decided our favorite 2009 summer memory was our VIP day at SeaWorld. I have to admit when the SeaWorld tour guide, Scott, approached us my husband and I were a little skeptical wondering where the ěcatchî would be. It turns out that we were the SeaWorld lottery winners for the day! What a wonderful opportunity to experience the heart of SeaWorld. We learned SeaWorld has an entire section devoted to animal rescue and rehabilitation. We were able to visit with the newly born dolphins and experience the backstage habitat for the penguins. We had a great time at the dolphin experience and of course the front line passes and reserved seating for all of the shows definitely lead to our being able to see ALL of the shows and go on the fun rides. We definitely went home that night wet, tired, and completely fulfilled with our wonderful day! Thank you to our awesome tour guide, Scott, for picking us and to Seaworld for making our VIP day such a memorable experience!!!! We canít wait to visit again soon!

We had a most excellent time there at Sea World CA. A promise we needed to fulfill to the children, was way more then what we expected. Carol was great she was the one who offered us our VIP Package deal beyond belief. We were able to see extraordinary things most regular customers aren't ever able to have the opportunity to do. We got to see rescued Sea lions and go in the back where a lovely worker was feeding the penguins that came from a much warmer climate and were able to play out in the sunny San Diego weather.
We also got see the new mothers with their baby dolphins and had a close encounter with two very well mannered dolphins.. Our seating to the shows were dead center and  shaded during the day. We even we received a 10 percent discount off our meal when we went to eat for lunch that day. The children were super excited about the free snack offer given to us as well.
It was an all around awesome experience that we were luckily award as we were planning our day of fun out! Sea World made it much much more worth-wild!!!
