Our day in SeaWorld was a fantastic experience and, without doubt, the fun highlight of our vacation in California. When we were approached by Laura after entering the Park, it was a while before we realised how fortunate we’d been to be chosen as the VIP group of the day - we had a wonderful time and were made to feel like very special guests.
We started with a behind-the-scenes tour, and felt privileged to see sea lions, seals and, best of all, two female dolphins with their young cubs and a third about to give birth. Laura was a super guide and was very knowledgeable about the animals, the history of SeaWorld, and all the work done with rescued and sick animals.
Probably the highlight of the day for us was the dolphin encounter where, with one of the trainers, we were able to interact with these amazingly sociable and fun-loving mammals. You can see from the photos how much we all enjoyed the experience!
Having reserved seating at all the shows and Quick Queue passes for the rides was a real treat – something we could get used to! All the staff were really helpful and did everything they could to make our day special.
So a very big thank you to everyone at SeaWorld for making this a brilliant experience. We enjoyed every minute, and will always remember it as a very special day.
