Dear friends at Sea World,
Our family was so surprised to find ourselves as the next lucky VIP family for the day! We went to the park on Monday, July 13, 2009. A few days before going, my daughter, Elizabeth had a fortune cookie that said, "Adventure Awaits You"! Once we were asked to be the VIP family and had the Dolphin experience, Elizabeth said, "My fortune really came true"! She has always wanted to meet dolphins, and you guys made that dream come true for her... so with that alone, THANK YOU! We felt like we were on top of the world having special seating for us at every show, discounts, express access to rides and being able to ride the tower and sky buckets for free!
Our children have always had a love for all animals, and they both express specific interests in marine life. They both want to be marine biologists, they ESPECIALLY have a desire to be that after the amazing time we had at Sea World!
My husband and I were impressed with how much information was shared on each animal in the park. We love learning about all the interesting things each creature has to offer.
We have already been telling all of our friends and family about this amazing experience! They are all anxious to go some day soon to see if they can be the next VIP family!

We have been to SeaWorld - Orlando but, this was our first time to SeaWorld San Diego. What we had planned as spending a few hours at SeaWorld, became an all day affair simply from being selected VIP Family of the Day. As the VIP family we were able to experience many fun things the park has to offer that we would normally pass up on.
After going through the front gate, we went to a kiosk to obtain information about the Quick Queue passes and the All Day Dining plan. Soon after, Pam approached us and asked a few questions about our family and answered our questions regarding the Quick Queue and dining plan. She then asked if we would like to be the VIP Family of the day and explained what all it included (reserved seating at all shows, front of the line privilege at the rides, free photo with Shamu, a Dolphin Encounter with photo, and coupons for free snacks and drinks). She gave us badges to identify us as the VIPs and then provided a mini tour while answering our questions before turning us loose on our fun filled day.
Everywhere we went we were made to feel extra special. Many of park employees would ask if we were enjoying our visit or simply say “Hello VIP Family”.
The reserved seating to all of the shows and the shows were amazing. While attending at the Shamu Believe show an announcement was made to welcome special guests that were in attendance as we wondered who it was, our Shamu family photo was shown on the Shamu “Big Screen” and they welcomed the VIP Family of the Day. Our kids are still talking about that. Each of the shows are wonderful to see and unique. However, if you see the shows during the day…stick around because the night shows are totally different and just as great. Also, be sure to stay and see the spectacular fireworks show. Best seat in the house was the reserved seating at the Shamu Rocks show.
The Quick Queue passes (front of the line privilege at the rides) was a pleasant perk. We rode every ride multiple times and only experienced an average of 3 minutes wait time.
Lastly, what SeaWorld didn’t know was we were visiting as a part of celebrating Callie’s 9th birthday. One of the things she had asked to do was pet a dolphin. To our surprise her wish was granted by the Sea World VIP Family selection. Seeing her excitement as she interacted with the dolphins was priceless and very rewarding to the rest of the family.
Being from the South, most of us take pride in “Southern Hospitality”. We have to admit, we were quite impressed with the “SeaWorld Hospitality”. The whole experience was amazing. We truly had fun day. Our experience on this day will always be remembered.
